Yoga is a system of physical, mental and spiritual development that originated in India some 3000 years ago. The postures, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation keep the body and mind healthy, helping us to find a sense of inner peace and contentment.
Meditation is proven to positively impact both mental and physical health. Whether it’s reducing stress, improving sleep, increasing focus or improving your relationships, meditation is a simple, natural and powerful process.
The word Reiki means ‘Universal Life Force Energy’ and refers to the energy that flows through all living things. Reiki is an ancient form of healing that rebalances the body’s energy systems, and helps the body’s self-healing mechanisms to relieve both physical and emotional pain.

There are many types of Yoga and styles of teaching. My classes are not strongly physical, they aim to keep your body supple and strong, and your joints flexible.
In addition to the mindful bodywork, classes include mindful breath work and meditation. Beginners are most welcome, why not try a class for free?
Meditation contributes to an individual’s well-being, both psychological and physiological. It does this by bringing the brainwave pattern into an alpha state, which is a level of consciousness that promotes the body’s natural healing mechanisms to work more efficiently.
The Spiritual Yoga Retreat is a beautiful time away dedicated to your spiritual advancement with a group of like-minded people. It is beneficial for everyone, from those with a mature practice to those who don’t currently have a yoga practice at all.

Yoga is much more than what we do ‘on the mat’, and at these workshops we explore gentle posture work, breathing exercises, meditation, mantra and study of the yoga teachings. There will also be a Yoga Nidra, enabling total relaxation.

Reiki is an ancient form of healing that rebalances all the body’s energy systems. Reiki helps the body’s self- healing mechanisms to work correctly in order to restore the body to good health.
The gentle energy of Reiki works holistically to help you if you are suffering from physical, mental or emotional issues.
I offer Reiki Training to Level 1 and Level 2 for individuals or very small groups. By completing these Reiki Levels, you can learn to treat yourself and others. I also offer ongoing mentoring for trainees.
Reiki is easy to learn because it is so accessible to everyone, even those with no previous experience of healing.
Hello, I’m Janine, and welcome to Simply Yoga & Reiki. As a Yoga teacher my aim is to guide people through the spiritual journey of Yoga to relieve worry and angst, and to bring some peace and calm into their lives. As a Reiki teacher I help people to use Reiki as a tool to gain relief from ill health, stress and unhappiness, as well as using Reiki to find the courage to deal with self-destructive behaviours, negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs.
